A little bit about our month of February guest Pastor Cole Penick. He became a part of UBC as a college freshman in 2003. After graduating, he served on staff in the College Ministry before taking over the local Baptist Collegiate Ministry in 2012. He holds an M.Div. from Southern Seminary and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the UofA. UBC has been the context of many of the most shaping elements of Cole’s life. He met and married his wife at UBC, was ordained, trained, and sent out into ministry here, and has learned much about personal faithfulness through the example and instruction of other members.Cole was converted at a young age while growing up in a Gospel-saturated home. He and his wife, Caroline, hope to create that same environment for their four children, Charlotte, Elliot, Silas, and Nate. The Penicks live right in the middle of campus, their mission field. They enjoy family walks on campus, watching and playing sports, making and eating good food, and oh so many books.
