Who Can Be A Member?

We have two criteria for a person to become a member of FBCE:

One, you must first have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. This means that you have asked Jesus to forgive you of your sins (Savior) and made Him the Boss (Lord) of your life.

Everyone is a sinner and their sin separates them from God (Romans 3.23).
Jesus paid for the sins of the world through His death on the cross and bodily resurrection three days later (John        3.16; Romans 5.8-9, 17).
Because God loves every person and wants to have a personal relationship with them, Salvation is a free gift offered    to all (Romans 6.23; Ephesians 2.8-9).
You must believe upon Jesus & repent to receive this free gift (Romans 10.9-10; John 14.6).
Once you accept Christ, you are a new person (2 Corinthians 5.14-17).

Two, you must have been scripturally baptized.

If you are a Christian and have never been baptized, we would love to baptize you. If you have been baptized, we accept the baptism from churches & denominations that share the same belief we do about the meaning of baptism. Baptism is an entirely symbolic act, and no salvific or bestowed grace should be attached to its meaning.

If you would like more information on being baptized or becoming a member, please email us.
